F You USC.

Pac-10's run for the Rose Bowl heats up

Too funny:
"No. 6 Southern California finds itself in a strange position, the only team in the Pac-10 with a realistic shot at the BCS title game yet needing help to win the conference title in the form of an Oregon State loss."

Did Matt Cassel really drop 30 points last night???

And no one is playing him.
Wow.

No Need to Play 'Em

I ran a statistical model to forecast our league's outcome. Remember, as they say in the financial world, past results don't reflect future performance. But if it did:

Mustprotecthishouse3.0 11-3
Sam Hamwich 10-4
Minters Hard Hitters 9-5
80's Babies 9-5
Nasheville Toupee 8-6
Terry Tate All Stars 7-7
Spooner Express 5-9
Truth in Advertising 5-9
The Crows 4-10
Hela Monsters 2-10

The most lop-sided matchup: Spooner Express vs. Minter's Hard Hitters (Week 13): Spooner has a mere 19% chance of winning

The closest matchup: Sam Hamwich vs. Minter's Hard Hitters (Week 14): Sam Hamwich should win but it's only 51.3% likely

Yeah for having 7% of a real life which inspires you to do crap like this.

I'm thinking AJ needs to get rid of McNabb NOW

We're closing in on week 12, and if history holds true, DM will blow out his knee very, very soon.

They really do love their SEC foosball.

Two dead in argument over Alabama-LSU game - USATODAY.com
EVERGREEN, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say an argument over Saturday's Alabama-LSU football game led to the shooting deaths of a couple at a home in south Alabama.

Prosecutors identified the victims as Dennis and Donna Smith of Brewton. The shooting happened about 7 p.m. Saturday at the home of Michael Williams in the rural community of Owassa.

Williams was arrested and charged with two counts of murder. He was being held Monday without bond. A sheriff's investigator did not know if he had an attorney.

Investigators told the Mobile (Ala.) Press-Register that Dennis Smith, an LSU fan, called Williams, an Alabama fan, after Alabama's 27-21 overtime win and an argument ensued.

The Smiths went to Williams' home. Investigators said 41-year-old Dennis Smith had a pistol and the 28-year-old Williams had a shotgun and fired. 39-year-old Donna Smith was a relative of Williams' girlfriend.

Go Beavers!!!

So I cant remember, but I THINK it was Oklahoma that lost to K State in their Conf. Championship game and yet still played for National Championship. I THINK they got beaten by Miami.
Anyway...
USC might not even win the PAC 10. HI-LARIOUS.
Fuck them and their blanking of the Cougs.
Thats right -- fuck you Pete Carrol and your no-shirt wearing man pile of gaye-ness.
PROP 8 BABY!!!!

So apparently tonight involves pulling for BOTH OSUs.
Go Beavers, Go Cowboys.

Good luck in the SEC Championship against 'Bama.

BTW -- many citizens of the SSTC&BFSG community have mentioned how horrible & stupid Les Miles is.
A- Greed.
The second time out - almost Amato-ish in it's usefulness.

Friday, November 7, 2008

Damn you Brandon Stokley!

So regardless of how you feel about Obama, doing something stupid and getting a 15 yard penalty that would allow the Browns to win would have been GREAT for us Bolts fans.
I only heard snippets of the game online -- something about Mike Shanahan nearing the end and basically going to Dallas. Might be conjecture -- those fuckers on the NFL network TALK AND TALK AND TALK AND TALK.
Shut up and play.

That Kid Had Talent

Rest in Peace, dear Ryan Torain. Easily the most talented kid on my squad (and the most productive when averaged by the minutes played). He could've made my season were it not for last night's torn ACL. He was plucky.

Here's his stat line:

Quarters Played: 1.5
Carries: 12
Yds: 68
YPC: 5.7
TDs: 1

At least I can lean on DeAngello...I'm thinking Stewart has a stress fracture and is out of the year.

Sweet Dee....

You do know that you only get 32 total moves per season ???
Granted, we've only got 5 or 6 more games until playoffs, but you're at 27 now.
Good luck.

Sorry. Its 40.

Pretty sure the Pick 6 @ the end sealed the deal

D. Anderson getting benched, Brady Quinn is in.

Any trades that are still out there -- I'm still willing to deal!!!

**SAN**
Crap. I forgot that MPTHv3.0 already had Aaron Rogers and would not need to wheel & deal on Joe Flaco.

So no hate from me for the SEC -- it may just be that having Texas as #1 we've gotten to see a lot more Big 12 games this year -- Mizzou & Kansas being good last year probably also helped.
But as we speak, TT is whoopin the shit out of UT. But Nebraska took TT to overtime and is being annihilated by OU. Wow. How is one to make heads or tails about the top 5 ???
I mean, OU is good. TT appears to be the real deal.
And in their defense - Texas aint too shabby. In terms of scheduling, having back to back to back to back ranked teams is kind of tough.
I guess Penn State runs the table and is in.
Then its gonna be a dog fight for that #2 slot. I got NOTHIN'. I have no idea how this is gonna shake out. I guess whoever in the SEC wins out will... win out. We'll see.

I'm still glad you're gone, dick.

Monday Night Actually Matters

The question is can I make up 5 points with Manning and Bironas against Tennessee D? This may be tougher than one might think.

I may live blog it.

Oh, T-bone...

I'm a little disappointed to see that you didn't even make a pick in the latest Survival league.

On a side note, I'm also a little surprised that less than 1% of people picked Carolina this past week given that west coast teams are 0-12 (now 0-13) in 1PM starts on the east coast.

Rule change for next year.

Not sure how we missed this, but Fum lost is -2 and an INt is -1. My feeling is they should either both be -2 or both be -1. An offensive tunrover is an offensive turnover.

The only way I can see you're beloved Gators making it to whatever city is gracing us with a bowl of nachos this year is for Texas and Oklahoma to BOTH slip up. I think that gives you guys a strength of conference argument (if you win out). I think you also need the 'Noles & Cocks, Auburn & LSU to win a few in next month (Auburn & LSU for 'Bama's schedule).
Good luck!

Good news for Earnest Graham!!!

Mon, Oct 20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden said during his press conference Monday, Oct. 20, that RB Warrick Dunn (undisclosed) was unable to finish the team's Week 7 game, and it is not sure if he will play in Week 8.

(KFFL)

Mon, Oct 20 Updating a previous report, the St. Petersburg Times reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Warrick Dunn (back) left the team's Week 7 game because of a pinched nerve in his upper back.

Is this even legal in a game???

I think I'm Effed!!!

The Lions traded Roy Williams to the Cowboys. I see Roy having a Pro Bowl caliber season the rest of the way since most of the coverage will be rolled TO's way. Oh, and look at what we have here.....Sam Handwich just happens to have held on to Mr. Williams. This doesn't bode well for me.

Skooled.

LCS thoughts

So I haven't been a huge baseball fan over the years. The Twins Braves series of 1991 was fairly exciting. Especially the game the twins won. Luke charged out on the balcony expecting the deluge of phonebooks, pizza boxes and toilet paper that followed all the Brave's wins.

One lone person screaming across a quad "goooo Twiiiiins!" followed by crickets is pretty darn memorable. And I'll always love him more for it!

I have many great memories of waking up at 3am in Nepal to tune into the Denver/GreenBay Superbowls and World Cup France.

But up until recently, that cricket night with Luke was about it for baseball.

I've definitely been much more excited for our historic forays in 'Ice Croquette' and other modified rules of yard games. I'm still thinking we should get a thrift shop set of my little ponies to make a game of horseshoes seem like a hell of a lot more in the telling of it.

Until this October.

The attention I've paid to the Bulls over the last three years has really come back to make me damn happy as I've followed the Rays through their cinderella year. Listening to the games on am radio and hearing the former Bulls lighting up an 11-0 at Fenway pitcher was just damn awesome.

Not that the Rays will continue to have this success, especially is the rich ass division they're in, but if they do, it may be time to consider a road trip next summer, just 'cause. Of course, this is a midnight thought fed by "Red Brick Brown Ale" from the Atlanta brewing company. It's a little sugary for me, but there's five more just waiting for coming nights!

hmmmm.

lost that train.

whoooooooo whooooooooooooooo

Can you guess who this is?

First to know wins a prize.

Pick'em

Still pulling up the rear but having given the league a 3 week head start I think I'm doing pretty well!

Holy crap. Cant I catch a lucky break ???

Mon, Oct 13 WR Brandon Stokley suffered a concussion against the Jaguars and missed most of the second half. He will be monitored this week before the Broncos determine his status for their next game.

Wish I had read that before I dropped Bobby Engram.

Sunday, October 12, 2008

Some numbers just for fun.

So, I decided to see what the league would look like if we were in a universal head to head league (that is, everyone plays everyone else every week); here are the standings through week 5:

1. MPTH 30-15T2

It's obvious a few leaguers have gotten some favorable match ups, and it's obvious that there are a few hard luck losers amongst us (sorry, Pooler).

Not that AJ is up shit creek...

but it aint looking good for him @ noon.
Sorry about Coles & Royal. And Boldin. And Reggie Brown.

Its a good thing I dont mind winning dirty.

Does this go here?

I'm not sure if its funny from a sports figure standpoint or if its political. Either both RA and SK will be voting for McCain now.

Brady Quinn loves him some McCain!

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

Am I correct that there is a game on Thorsday night?

Any interest in going to Fox & Hound to watch it on NFL network ?

Not sure if T Bone & Mr. Pooler are up for Sunday @ Wild Wings -- the Sidekick is DEFINITELY out, so it might just be me & Sweet Dee.
Brent, what do you have on tap ?
AJ, you need to get you're arse up here one weekend!

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

Maybe, just MAYBE we should at least watch Futbol for the interviews.

Sweet Dee, why dost thou hatest me ???

Spooner Express

Anyone have a top tier receiver they are willing to part with ?
Check my bench, let me know. Gates available also.

Thats right beeches!!!
Wooo Wooo !!!
The Express rolls on into 1st place, all alone.

Who's next ???

Monday, October 6, 2008

At least I can pick a TE.

Visanthe Shiancoe scores! Way to get a triple squadouche with 27 replacement points sitting on the bench. I might as well pop my collar and finish the douche part off. Shit.

c'mon T Oby! our d's good enough to stop 'em. Now you get the ball back with 15 seconds. . .

finding ways to avoid winning?

Raycom intro

Bad portents:

1) rascal flat sings the ACC football theme. Might as well get michael bolton as far as I'm concerned

2) feature tackle in the football footage somebody swallowing Daniel Evans wholesale. Arms wrapped, etc. (and the NCSU is clear on him). . .

3) rascal wussass flats? no freakin' wonder. Couldn't they get someone with some credibility for being tough, like celine dion?

Is this how it feels every week...

to be the one staring down the barrel of the Sam Hammich ???
The dude is already being spotted almost 20 puntas over me!!!!

The only good news for me:
Earnest Graham is going up against the Denver defense.
Should be good for 20+

Monday, September 29, 2008

Thats right. Benching Mucho Stinko for a dude with a broken arm

I figure what the hell --- maybe Bobby Engram will only get 50 or 60 yards.
That would surpass 85s output from the first 3 weeks.

And this warning is for you, Randy Moss: Get your shit together or you're next!

***SAN***
WR Bobby Engram, Sea (54%) – Last call. Engram is expected to return from a shoulder injury in Week 5. He'll immediately step into a starting role and will likely assume go-to duties – Matt Hasselbeck loves the guy

New thoughts on benching once you've "WON"

Thinking about it -- YES, once you've scored more and the other team has no other players, it is 100% in you best interest to bench the remainder of your team.
Say Heath Miller has a fumble -- AJ & the Sidekick are tied.
So regardless of how Conan would play fantasy football, I think securing the win is too important to worry about getting a blowout.

I have wish list

it includes a top-flight TE and a dependable running back. You can have anyone on my team except Calvin Johnson and Trent Edwards (a man's gotta have keepers).

For example, I recent sent the spooner this trade:

Duece McCallister and Terrell Owens for Antonio Gates and Julius Jones. If this is the kinda thing you want, let me know.

Oh how the might have fallen.

Looks like me & AJ have both succumbed to the cruel winds of Fate and joined the ranks of the dirty masses.

***SAN***
Not ready to give this one up quite yet!
IF, and its a big if, Big Ben lights the Dirty Birds up and pushes their Defense towards negative territory, and doesnt get sacked 9 times, no picks, etc...
AND
Mendenhall gets loosey-goosey with the rock and coughs up a couple fumble-rooskies
THEN
The 'Uar still has a chance at choking this one out.

3rd quarter St L 14 Bills 6

With Denver going down (whoa) if Buffalo can scrape together a solid D and 1 touchdown followed by another score, I could win at something sporty this year. . .

Or tie for holding out the longest. As a State fan I'm used to counting the moral victories. And morale deflations!

This is directed to the Bakula, RE: Questionable

What say we agree to leave in our players that are questionable?
Otherwise, Im F-ed in the A.

P-Diddy?

Anyone notice the highest-scoring player in FF is Phillip Rivers?

Wednesday, September 24, 2008

So who has Plaxico?

And who baited him to force the suspension?

Is this what happens when a teams QB is NOT a prima donna? Those crazy giants

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

F you, Fast Willie!

Why didnt you go down LAST week.
I think at this point, my only valid keepers are the Tard Manning, Chester & Owen Daniels.
Not sure about how the rest of you feel about this season, but I have shot it fuck all.

Granted, some of you may say that Mendenhall & Deuce were sloppy seconds that would be around next season in late rounds, but I thought the point of our league was to actually KEEP players.
Oh well.

***SAN***
yes, Im a whiny beech:

Mon, Sep 22 Larry Holder, of the Biloxi Sun-Herald, reports New Orleans Saints RB Deuce McAllister was never in the team's game plan for Week 3, according to head coach Sean Payton.

***SAN #2 ****
HFS -- I forgot about Earnest Graham as a keeper. Ignore all previous whining.
He & the Tard: Keepers!

Help Wanted

Kansas City Chiefs seeking person (and we use the term loosely) with arm (two are preferable but not a requirement) to aid in team becoming the laughing stock of the league. Must love humiliation and have the ability to smile in the face of a high paid running back while simultaneously recommending to the coach that he play his backup.

Seriously, this has to be the first time ever in which a team has started each of its first four games with no QB getting consecutive starts. Too bad I played DB in high school or I'd be on the first thing smoking to Missouri!

Holy crap. I MIGHT be looking at 4-0

Checking out the Genuine Bakula's lineup:

Available:
Moss
Driver
Felix Hones
Johnson
McGahee

BYE
Brown
Manning
Hasselback -- I assume he'll pick up a QB. I hear DelHomme is available.
Giants -- I assume he'll pick up a D.

HURT
McFadden
Shockey -- Getting a quality TE is going to be tough.

Good luck.

80% of the way to 5 and 13 ????

2 Things...

I've got a bad feeling that Truth in Advertising is going to end my little winning streak this week. I've got to be due for one of those "I can't believe he didn't score any points!" weeks.

Also...

How in the H-E-double hockey sticks is the Spooner Express rolling along undefeated having put up the second LOWEST scoring total in the league. He's a statistical anomaly!

Crap. Anyone want a #3 and #5 pick for a WR ???

Mon, Sep 22 Scott Petrak, of the Medina County Gazette, reports Cleveland Browns QB Derek Anderson (forearm) will likely start for the team in Week 4. However, he could have a quick hook should he struggle. QB Brady Quinn will likely receive more reps during practice this week. Head coach Romeo Crennel said the staff was evaluating every position on the team, including quarterback.

After week 4, I should have Derek Anderson on the block, and assuming he doesnt produce, Mucho Stinko also.

Let's keep the wheeling and dealing going!!!!!

What the hell is the O/U on this game?

Whatever it is, hopefully you bet the over. Because there may be a combined 50 points scored before the half (25 off Favre interceptions, thanks Brett).

Cock.

I was only kidding cockface, you can quit throwing them.

I'm flush with RB's

Wow me with some offers, beeches. Maybe a top3 TE and a good QB?

Um, no.

From the UNC Team Report:

"North Carolina was on the verge of taking control of the ACC Coastal Division..."

That's some serious spin right there. How can you be on the verge of taking control when you haven't taken a snap?

Re-diculous.

Kind of amusing, however, that the writer refers to their backup QB as Greg Paulus. That has to get under the skin of the B-ball faithful.

The fact the pick'em is named "Keeping AJ Happy"

How am I so terrible at picking NFL games?

I'm third from last in my dad's pool (100+ people, the 2nd time in 3 weeks), last in ours, and not so hot in Yellow Ben's. I varried my picks, too.

The article referenced by Mr. Pooler on Saturday

Courtesy of the WSJ

I've given up even trying to pretend Im 1/2 decent @ fantasy football

Pooler, AJ & El Tino seem to be running away with the league.
Not being able to field a single WR is KILLING me.

Sunday, September 21, 2008

Also

Pooler, you should have started both Jack Johnson and TJ O'Sullivan (and wore your requisite 38 pieces of flair)!

Is it wrong

that I consider the Ryder Cup a much bigger deal than the Olympics? I much more enjoy watching it, get a larger feeling of national pride, and find myself rooting much harder for the participants.

Granted, its 90% from Brady being hurt

But if there is anyone in our league that has a worse receiving tandem than Moss & Ocho Stinko, I'd like to know.

BTW - Graham: 16 total yards against the Bears.

That, mon freres, is 5 points from 3 players.

***SAN***
The answer is NO -- no one has a worse tandem than me yet.
The caveat on that -- IF Chambers gets 0 points, El Tino will get 3 from his top receivers.

Ronnie Brown,

You hate me.

Sweet sassy molassy!!!

RB Chester Taylor could see his first significant action of the season Sunday if starting RB Adrian Peterson's hamstring injury is still bothering him. Peterson was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

UPDATE

Thu, Sep 18 Rick Alonzo, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (hamstring) expects to ready to play Week 3. "I feel I'll be ready to go," Peterson said. "Just take it one day at a time. Just give it a little time to rest." Peterson said his hamstring began to tighten up in the fourth quarter of the team's Week 2 game.

Could be worse than the financial crisis?!?

Not sure if this belong here or the regular blog, but I going with this one to be safe.

Can Minters and Spooner play each other? I mean they are run by the same person aren't they? Is this not exactly like when the same person from two different times occupies the same space like Ron Silver in Timecop (I love JCVD).

This matchup could cause a cataclysmic event the likes of which we have never seen. SCARED!!!!!

Week 3 matchups actually look really good for me

Manning @ Cincy
Moss @ Miami
Graham @ Chicago --- Carolina ran at will, so NO FEAR!!!
Norwood @ KC -- this might pan out after all
Gates @ NYJ
Jones @ StL -- need to see how Brandon Jacobs did
Kasay @ Minn
Seattle @ StL

Only concern, of course:
Johnson @ NYG -- Grande' Stink'O

Now, as life has shown me, any bit of confidence I develop, especially about topics I know little if anything about, will be ground into a fine powdery dust of shame.
Well, a boy can dream!

Let me just say... even without Wash Trades

I think this is exciting -- Im fairly certain we're actually going to see some legit wheelin' and dealin', as opposed to 1 trade for the entire season.

Trading Block

I need a Tight End that's good. I have an extra top tier WR (Owens, Wayne, Housh, and Johnson). I also have some interested RB options like San Diego's Sproles.

A small light in the tunnel ? I hope!

RB Jerious Norwood, Atl (77%) – Not much doing for Norwood at Tampa in Week 2 (6-for-18), but 10-12 touches backing up Michael Turner in Week 3 could prove fruitful against the generous Kansas City run defense.

Not happy to read this... AT ALL!!!

Cutler is salt in the wounds of those who passed him over in favor of Carson Palmer and Derek Anderson. While certainly their individual efforts can't be pardoned, both AFC North signal-callers have been victims of some tough matchups and some inclement weather. Combined they've been able to produce just one TD pass to five interceptions through two games. In Week 3, Cincinnati travels to play the New York Giants and Cleveland heads to Baltimore. In other words, no light to be seen in this tunnel yet.

OR THIS GEM

Week 1 star Willie Parker was third in the league in carries last season, despite missing one game. And, through two games in '08, Parker has at least five more carries (53) than any other back in the league. And what about that rookie running back that was supposed to come in and cut into Parker's carries and steal his goal-line glory? Rashard Mendenhall received nary a touch in a wet, sloppy Sunday night victory at Cleveland. He did handle 10 carries in Week 1 when the Steelers jumped out to a big lead on Houston. But, clearly, the Steelers have indicated that the meaningful minutes are all Parker's for now. Mendenhall's touches are going to have to build up the old-fashioned way – he's going to have to earn them.

Fantasy Trading Block

Just a reminder: I still have Kurt Warner (Ari) available for trade. I'm looking for some help at my Wide Receiver/Running Back position. Although I'm happy holding him until the end of the season, so that no one else can reap the rewards that he could possibly bring a team, I do not feel threatened enough to NEED to carry three top flight QB's all season. That may sound a little cocky but what the hey!!! I'm an 80's baby living the dream! Whooo-hooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

There appears to be hope for me & my nascent NFL career...

Yuck. Well, what did I expect out of my 14th pick ?

Given Pierre Thomas’ impressive performance in Week 1 (10 carries for 52 yards), the Saints aren’t in a rush to get McAllister back on the field. McAllister shouldn’t be part of your fantasy plans this weekend, as it’s unclear how many (if any) carries he will see.

Looks like Pooler & AJ are the elites of the league.

Truth in Advertising 51
Spooner Express 72

Terry Tate All Stars 84
Minters Hard Hitters 62

Hella Monsters 59
Sam Handwhich 137

The Crows 49
The 80's Babies 119

Nasheville Toupee 73
mustprotecthishouse3 56

MAYBE, just maybe, Pooler's theory of not getting shit drunk @ the draft is working to his advantage.

I'm a fan of football and there is a football team at ECU

SO, I remember Steve Logan being run out of there for taking them to a bowl game a bunch of times before there were 30+ bowls, opening the door for Holtz Jr to make a move. Will two wins over formerly ranked teams prove the ouster of what I thought was a pretty good coach a winnable investment for the Pirate nation? Now part of my near -fanhood for Pirate nation involves a summer spent there in high school and a fairly rememberable relationship with a curvy coed in Fletcher Hall.

Anyone know where Logan is now? He used to have a talk show on 620 or 850 for a while that was pretty darn good.

Clemson 17 Pack 9 with a quarter to go. Not out of reach and certainly proving Clemson is NOT the team the pundits have hoped to have. Is the Tommy Ticker on again?

I was kind of aware this was going on, but damn...

Cliff Lee 22-2.

Can we say complete fluke of a season. I almost want to do fantasy baseball next year just to watch peple grab him up, then snicker when he regresses back to the mean.

Still, 22-2 is damn impressive; although he may still not win the AL Cy Young because of K-rod!

Keeping ECU talk to a minimum

Since our disdain for anything ECU is pervasive on this blog, I'll provide everyone with the University of Florida umbrella to squelch any further ECU posturing. Even the sun shines on a pirate's ass some days. State will return to prominence, just like ECU's 15 minutes will be over very soon.

Now this is not to confuse our abject love for all things pirate as we all know International pirate day is next week. Comparisons of pirates to ECU grads are definitely acceptable. Well...... I guess it's even hard to compare, because even though a pirate's favorite letter of the alphabet is "R"rrrrr, it's usually the only letter of the alphabet an ECU grad knows.

Sweet! Not feeling bad about my decision.

Scott Petrak, of The Medina County Gazette, reports Cleveland Browns WR Donte' Stallworth (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 11. He is considered doubtful for Week 2.

BTW.. im sure the majority of you are Moo U or Holes fans so..

HOW BOUT THEM PIRATES!!

giggity giggity giggity

Not that Im any good at this Fantasy Foosball thing

I just noticed one thing that might actually help me out:
I THINK I have the best defense in the worst division.
At this point, Seattle gets SF, Arizona and St Louis twice each.
That alone should make me golden.

Picked up Jerious Norwood -- anyone know if punt/kick off yards count, or is it just TDs? Apparently, my stra-tergery this season is to handcuff #2 RBs: Deuce, Mendenhall, Chester & now Norwood.

OMG

Carolina's Dante Rosario is now projected to score more fantasy points than Washington's Chris Cooley.

Eff Jason Campbell in the A!!!!

BTW, there's still plenty of room on the Carolina Panther's bandwagon as it is still very early in the season. I, myself, have always been a big fan of the Panthers, Jake Delhomme and Bojangle's fried chicken and biscuits!

P.S.
College basketball is only a few months away and I know that a few of you were fortunate enough to attend NC State U. and also unfortunate enough to have to continue to pull for their major sports teams. I admit the only college sport that I care about at all is men's basketball and as some of you may have learned (or maybe not) I've been a faithful UNC-CH fan for the better part of two decades. Just to piss off The Hudson (among others) a bit....

Go Heels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn! A day behind the Wolf

News about Eddie Royal creeped very slowly into my synapses.
Im gaining more and more confidence that The Ocho Cinco is going to Grande Stinko.

Happy 1 year anniversary!

Look at us with our pithy commentary and witty banter.
