Following Buffalo's loss to Dallas last night, ESPN's Stuart Scott asked his fellow commentators, Steve Young and Emmitt Smith, that had they not known the outcome, with so little time remaining and with Romo's multiple interceptions, what two words would've come to mind:
Steve Young: Dallas. Lose.
Emmitt Smith: Dallas. Lose. Big. Time.

So in addition to the "Don't taze me Bro" guy and the stutterer that is Erin Andrews, I may have to add time for Emmitt. We are currently at 4 months from "Don't taze me Bro" and while this is Emmitt's first year doing this and he didn't go to college for academics, I'm on the fence with this one. Any thoughts?
Actually, he was on the NFL network for one season (2005, I believe), so this isn't his first rodeo so to speak. He's just terrible.
Is it just me or that a ridiculous question to ask commentators anyway? Are they paying them by the word at ESPN? If so maybe Emmitt is the smart one. He just doubled Young's salary.
To expand on the Smith situation; he was actually not renewed by NFLN because of his refusal to put any time in outside the studio.
I like Pooler's thought on it. And yes Emmitt is a dipshit.
