Idea after can't cut list is removed.

Not that I'm throwing in the towel just yet, but I have an idea once the can't cut list is removed.

Can we make it so that the top four teams only make the playoffs?
After this is agreed to, can we then have the rest of the teams not in the playoffs drop all their players, and have the rest of the four teams draft those players?

I like this idea for a few of reasons:
1.) Drafts are fun. (We could possibly make this an auction draft as a tryout for next years regular draft. Only 4 people make it easy, fewer players to pick up so there isn't alot of planning or math involved, but if there is one player that someone really wants, they'll blow all their money for that player, meaning they are done for the rest of the draft.)
2.) With only 12 possible players on each team the decision to pick up one of the dropped players to replace a current player will be interesting and difficult.
3.) For those that are keeping a player on the roster to keep for next year, interesting choices are made about replacing. Lets say an Andre Johnson for a Dwayne Bowe or a Tony Romo for a Peyton Manning. (Once you drop a player he can't be kept for next year.)
4.) The line ups for the two weeks of playoffs will be tremendous, probably high scoring, and hopefully have dramatic swings.
5.) I'm sure I'm forgeting some other wonderful reasons as well.

Now of course I know I would find this very fun whether I was a participant or an onlooker.

Thoughts?

I agree with the above sentiment. However, if you want some zany fantasy action, how about this: When the Real-Football playoffs start, we have another draft and play head to head. Your draft strategy is based on 1) quality of player and 2) likelihood of your player's team remaining in the playoffs. No one is likely to score this but I'm willing to do the computations manually.
