Keepers

So, how do keepers work for waiver wire pick ups? Let's say, for example, my keepers were Brandon Jacobs and Larry Johnson. Brandon Jacobs was MY 5th pick, so he sacrifices my 4th pick next year, right? But I got Larry Johnson off the waiver wire and he was someone's 1st pick. Does that mean I'm losing a 1st pick, a 12th pick, or something in between?

You do not get to keep anyone you've picked up. It's unfortunately only people you drafted. If you've dropped them then they are lost to you. I'm sure the sidekick will send you the most up to date spreadsheet of who is available for everyone.

What about traded players? If I lose the right to keep traded players, that doesn't seem fair to those of us who traded. When I look at my roster, the only people I am allowed to keep are Terrell Owens, Brandon Jacobs, and Adam Vinatieri.

That is correct. Unfortunately for you we created those rules at the get go. My suggestion is to suggest it as a rule for next year.
