Tebow for Heisman?

If anyone thinks someone else should win the Heisman, I'd be interested in opinions. A few stats just in case you aren't familiar.

51 Total touchdowns - 29 Passing, 22 Rushing. 3100+ yds Passing 800+ yds Rushing
- Shares the NCAA record for most rushing TD's by a QB (Should own that record with one game remaining)
- First player in NCAA history to pass and rush for 20+ TD's in a season (Should be 30/20 with one game remaining)
- Most total touchdowns in SEC History (I think some decent players have played in the history of the SEC but I'm not sure)
2nd in the country in Passing Effiency (Well they can't all be winners)
Florida leads the NCAA in 3rd down conversions. (If they need a conversion he makes the play)

Oh and when he breaks his hand during a game, he likes to play the rest of the game using that hand to stiff-arm 300lb Defensive Linemen

zero fumbles even though he accounted for something like 72% of all florida offensive plays as passer or ball carrier, and handed off most of the other times (there were direct snaps to others).

Also of note, he had ZERO fumbles this year (so far).

Wow - once again, the ITSTC is pulling in anonymous posters like flies to shit.
Unless this is the 'Uar, plugging Tebow for Heisman using a sham account, which, based on last years FF team for Mackadocious, isnt out of the question.

Do we actually have other people reading the blog? Especially this one? Weird.

Seriously, no idea who that is. It is surely not me. People must be searching for the Tebow.
Also I didn't even no he hasn't Lost a fumble this year. Looking at the stats he's carried 194 times. So that deserves a wow!
This blog will probably get more randoms on it, as our other blog talks about crap that only we could possibly be interetsed in

I think Tebow is the fairly heavy favorite right now with maybe the Missouri QB being 2nd. If Chase Daniel is impressive in the Big XII championship game maybe he can close the gap.

Fair or unfair, I think it hurts Tebow that he is only a sophomore. No sophomore has ever won it, and voters may be hesitant to give it to him this year knowing that he is likely to put up similar numbers the next two years. They think, eh, we'll screw him this year but he will get his reward next year or the next so it's OK.

I agree with you Pooler, as that happened to Grossman who should have won as a Soph in 2001. The hope is that voters now understand that players this good leave school after their Junior year and so maybe he will only have one more year left and they'll vote for him.
