I'm assuming the current line is favoring Pats vs. GB

Although, having at least one more chance to break out the powder blue jersey this late in the season gives me goose bumps.
My heart is tugging for a Bolts vs. Giants Superbowl, mainly to finally settle the score as to who was the better pick.
My brain, small and useless as it is for matters of gambling, is pretty certain we will be seeing Pats vs. Green Bay.

Funny aside - my spell check thinks it should be the "Superb Owl".

Funny aside #2 -- maybe this year the Sidekick & I can make the 'Uar happy by actually coming to blows, each of us girded in our team jerseys.

Ugh, a Giant/Bolts Superbowl??? Bleh. The NFL is currently in the process of assigning its biggest homer officals to work both weekend games in an attempt to assure a Pats/Pack SB game. The numbers would be of the chart if that one comes through.

The earlier comment is why I LOVE college sports while I 'enjoy' pro sports.

Not that it doesn't happen in college sports, but it's much harder for a third (or fourth) party to influence the outcome of a game solely to increase profits.

example:
If march madness was significantly manipulated by the media, there would be no George Mason stories. The final four would always have the "apparel/sales" universities every time.

That is, a cinderella team would slightly increase the public interest along the way, but nothing would draw viewers like a battle of classic titans. . .
