Wed, Sep 24 Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New York Giants have suspended WR Plaxico Burress one game. Burress, who received a new contract extension three weeks ago, failed to show up for work Monday, Sept 22. He did not respond to several phone calls by the team wanting him to explain the unexcused absence both Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 23. The suspension takes place immediately, meaning Burress will not play against the Seattle Seahawks Oct. 5. The Giants have a Week 4 bye. He will lose two weeks worth of pay.
What's the Wolf gonna do, fly 2000 miles to kick my scrawny ass? If the Wolf takes me out, she'll have to deal with a wife of mine especially angry for having to figure out how to finish vet school and raise a child by herself. that's going to be A LOT of anger. :-)
