Help a rookie out:
SO my starting QB and my reserve (Cutler/EManning) are fairly equal earners and they both appear to be facing fairly pitiful defenses (Lions/Chiefs respectively). Any other things I should look at as I consider starters for sunday?
Well, their stats are relatively close (actually Cutler's stats are slightly better than Eli's in everything other than int's).
Honestly, I'd probably start Cutler, just because the G'nts tend to run the ball a lot and Eli's on the road at KC (not that it makes a huge difference).
Also, 300 yds per game? Your tendency to round things is really hurting you on this one. The G'nts have played three games, so he's throwing just under 250 a game (which does round up to 300, yes, yes, but not in fantasy).
It doesn't apply here but I like to start QBs facing a better team. If they get behind, they throw more. That's also why I don't draft QBs...It should be QB canon that, at season's end, one of the top 5 quarterbacks went undrafted. The only reason he's not on your team is that you're too invested in the QB you drafted to notice. I really wish I picked up Joe Flacco but I was too invested in Trent Edwards as a keepr.
Flacco is probably going to be a top 5 pick now that they've taken the training wheels off of him (that and the fact that Derrick Mason is pissed off at being back in the league for another year).
Anything I win this season will certainly be beginer's luck. The SK provides fairly reasonable advice on the immediate weekend.
Once I kind of lock down what is happening with the Qb, then I can look at the best or my rest. I'm not sure about making changes to my roster yet either.
I will certainly pay much closer attention to my player status as 1pm sunday rolls in. . .

Eli Manning is throwing for 300 yds and 2 tds per game. Start him, even if he is retarded.

You hammer jacked me last week. You don't need help.
I need the advice on how not to pick injury prone R-Tards.
