So Im trying to think about what is appropriate

Should the Penn State players just forfeit the remaining games & refuse to play?
The whole rigamarole about winning the Big 10-11-12 just doesnt cut it for me.

I'm 90% of the opinion that all football operations should be halted at the university for at least the next year.

The problem is that the entire football staff is so entrenched (how many assistant coaches have been there 20-30 years), the only way to start fresh is to literally fire everyone involved.

It seems like the current seniors need to be given an opportunity to finish out their year - and all players be provided an option to transfer and NOT bear a degree that's almost always going to be either a joke or a worse humiliation. . .

I think I agree on the suspension of football operations at the close of this year. Too dirty too long. New crew, New U. . .

Seems like everyone should be fired who was involved or new. After that its dicey. The kids who go there shouldn't be punished. They have nothing to do with this. Though in general regardless of if the program goes dark, they should be able to transfer without penalty right?
